At the beginning of research and development, the new high temperature resistant biodegradable plastics we produce are to meet the national requirements for plastic materials for food contact. This material mainly uses completely biodegradable materials such as polylactic acid (PLA) as the main raw material, and after processing, it is made into drinking straws.
These eco-friendly paper straws maintain their physical integrity in hot and cold beverages. The scientists also found that the straws did not become wet when used to stir a variety of liquids, including water, tea, carbonated beverages, milk and other lipids containing lipids. The wetness of paper straws at the time of preparation was compared to that of traditional paper straws.
